Ingredients:
Serves 8-10
Crust;
1 1/2 C crushed pretzels
3/4 C butter, melted
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
Cake;
1 1/2 lbs strawberries, halved
2 C water, boiling
1 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 6 oz. pkg strawberry Jell-O
1 8 oz. whipped topping
3/4 C sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 F degrees. Grease a 13x9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, combine pretzels, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter. Mix thoroughly.
Transfer pretzel mixture to baking dish. Press into an even layer.
Bake crust for 8-10 minutes. Set aside to let cool.
In a large bowl, cream sugar and cream cheese. Fold in whipped topping.
Spread mixture over cooled crust. Refrigerate 1 hour, or until set.
In a large bowl, combine Jell-O and boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. Let cool to room temperature.
Place strawberry pieces on cream cheese layer.
Pour gelatin over cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until set.
